The Sdkfz222 was the standard light armoured car for the German army throughout World War 2.It was armed with a 20mm auto-cannon and co axial machinegun. In western Europe it proved very effective, but was less so on the eastern front, it’s off road performance being relatively poor. Around 1000 vehicles were built.
