The T60 light tank was armed with a 20mm autocannon, and went into production in September 1941, nearly 1400 produced by the end of the year, and continued being produced until early 1943. It was a successful reconnaissance tank and many captured examples were used by the Germans on the Eastern Front as the T60 743(r) often in place of the Panzer II.
