The M3A1 Scout Car, was a lightly armoured, open topped, and machinegun armed (1 .50 calibre heavy machinegun, and usually 2 .30 medium/light machineguns). It was a 4x4 vehicle and was designed as a reconnaissance scout car.  There was a crew of 2 with seating for a further 6.

Its poor off road performance led to it being replaced by the M8 Greyhound and M20  scout car in American service, but over 11000 were provided for the Allies, particularly the British (who designated it ‘White Scout Car’) and Russians.  In Allied service it was used in reconnaissance, artillery observation and personnel carrier roles.

(Each model comes unpainted and may require some assembly)
