The StuG III in all of its marques was the most widely produced German armoured main fighting vehicle of World War II. Being used as both a support vehicle as well as a tank hunter, the StuG IIIG was the final and best version of the type, with over 8000 produced between late 1942 and 1945. It was armed with the 75mm/L48 main gun, and unlike previous models, had a machinegun behind an armoured screen on the upper hull. The armour on the StuG IIIG was effective, but it was the low silhouette that gave it the edge in combat. The quality of this model is outstanding, and continues our reputation for 28mm quality at 12mm scale, and are the best value you will find in the scale.
