Siege gun batteries where used throughout the American civil War from the first day to the last. In the case of these rules they would mostly have been the batteries of army units along a river bank .This battery is represented by 4 guns but could be anything from 2 to 6 guns if so desired.
This model is of a 1/600 scale Union or Confederate seige gun battery. Seige gun batteries where usually of quite large calibre guns and were guns of position (typically between 8 and 12” in size). that could not easily be moved around and when being placed would take some considerable time to set up.
