First entering service in Russia in 1963, this self propelled 122mm rocket launcher is the inheritor of its WW2 precursors, with over 100000 built and used in most wars around the world since the mid 1960s to the present day. Cheap and efficient, it has been one of the great success stories of the last 100 years of warfare.
