The CSS Albermarle was a Confederate casemate ironclad. She was built in a cornfield up the Roanoke River at Edward’s Ferry. She fought the USS Miami and USS Southfield and rammed and sank the later. She then fought what is known as the Battle of Albemarle Sound against USS Miami, USS Mattabesett, USS Sassacus, and USS Wyalusing.
This model of the CSS Albermarle is a 1/600 scale Confederate casemate ironclad. She had two 6.4” Brooke double-banded rifles. She was 158 long x 35’ in beam, displaced about 376 tons, had a maximum speed of about 4 kts and about 150 crew.
