Entering service in the Russian Army in 1987, the BMP3 is one of the heaviest armed armoured personnel carriers in the world with a main armament of a 100mm gun that can fire AT missiles as well as a 30mm autocannon. Over 2000 have been produced by the end of 2025.
With up to 9 passengers carried the BMP3 can be used in multiple roles and has been used effectively in the Chechen Wars and currently in the Ukraine War.
