Designed in the 1950s, the BRDM and BRDM-2 (this model) entered service with Russia and the Warsaw Pact in 1962 and still in use today. A lightly armoured amphibious scout car, over 7000 have been produced, and it has been in action in wars across the globe, armed with a main 14.5mm HMG and co/ax LMG as well as good cross country performance, this vehicle is both an effective light fighting vehicle, and excellent in the reconnaissance role.
