The FV102 Striker, a Swingfire Guided Missile delivery vehicle (A Tank Killer) entered service in the British Army in 1975. Armed with 5 missiles in a 'bin' on the back of the vehicle, with a 5 missile reload capacity, it was used by the Royal Artillery and the Royal Armoured Corps in the BAOR in Germany, mainly within reconnaissance units. It continued in service, and took p[art in the First Gulf War, until 2005. Around 350 were built.
