
The USS Passiac was a Union Ironclad monitor. She was built by the Continental Iron Works. and was one of a class of 10 similar ships. There were various alternative armaments throughout the class. In 1863 USS Passiac had 1 x 15” and 1 x 8” Parrott rifle but like most ended up with 2 x 15” smoothbore guns. She also served in the Spanish American war.
This model of the USS Passiac class monitor is a 1/600 scale Union ironclad monitor. She had 1 × 15-inch smoothbores and 1 × 11-inch smoothbores. She was 200’ long x 46’ in beam, displaced about 1875 tons, had a maximum speed of about 7 kts and about 75 crew.
