The British Sherman DDs landed on Sword and Gold beaches, the Canadian DD tanks landed on Juno Beach and on Utah beach the American DD tanks landed with little loss. Only on Omaha beach were nearly all tanks lost by sinking, having been launched up to 7 miles offshore. The British used the DD Shermans again in the invasion of the South of France and crossing the Rhine. One Regiment in Italy also used them. A total of around 700 Shreman DD tanks were produced during WW2.

Models Price: (1 full Sherman DD tank, 1 ‘swimming’ Sherman DD tank and deployed screen) £8.50

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0525/7320/8753/files/FullSizeRender_3d9c1c95-5295-4ab6-8b9b-bbca7615df40.jpg?v=1783573170
