The T60 light scout tank was produced between 1941 and 1942. 6292 T60s were produced. Designed as a stopgap as a result of the huge losses of armour suffered in 1941, it was armed with a 20mm auto cannon and co-ax 7.62mm machinegun. The role of scout tank was often subordinated to providing infantry support.
